Worship is the heart of what we do at Ash Creek Baptist Church. There are three worship services on Sunday mornings.  Dr. Shotwell preaches in both of the English language services.

Traditional Worship Service – 10:45 a.m. in the sanctuary

The worship format is traditional.  The congregational music is a blend of old and new hymns, gospel songs, choruses, and contemporary Christian music.  The piano and organ are used, and the sanctuary choir supports the congregational singing and presents special musical offerings in every service.  The musical experience in worship often includes additional resources including orchestral accompaniment, handbells, and men’s and women’s ensembles.

Contemporary Worship Service – 10:45 a.m. in The Meeting Place

The worship format is more casual and contemporary.  The music is led by a worship leader and a team of instrumentalist and vocalists.  The worship experience is enhanced by a media team adding sound, light, and graphics  support.

Hispanic Worship Service – 12:00 noon in the Small Fellowship Hall

Primera Iglesia Bautista de Azle, a mission church that shares our facilities, provides a worship experience in Spanish.  The mission pastor leads worship and preaches in Spanish.  The congregational music is a blend of hymns, gospel songs, and choruses sung in Spanish and accompanied by guitar, keyboard, and drums.
